Atlanta Film Mogul Sued In Chancery For Contract Breaches

By Leslie A. Pappas (May 13, 2022, 6:19 PM EDT) — The founder of a television and film hub in Atlanta who sold it to a Los Angeles private equity firm for $120 million last year has been sued in Delaware Chancery Court for allegedly seeking to create a competing film complex.

Blackhall Global Partners LLC and two affiliates filed the complaint under seal late Thursday against Ryan Millsap and affiliated entities Blackhall Global Management LLC, Blackhall Studios LLC and Blackhall Real Estate LLC.

Although the complaint remained sealed as of late Friday, exhibits and supplemental filings attached to it reference Millsap’s plans to develop a massive studio complex about 30 minutes…
