NEWARK – Etailflow, a new company spinning out from a successful e-commerce business, is planning to add dozens of new jobs in the Newark area as it serves the online sales market.
Etailflow is a spinout from PCOnline, a Newark company co-founded by University of Delaware graduates Ryan Chen and Charles Zhang in 2015.
PCOnline began as a computer reseller on Amazon but has since developed relationships with most major computer manufacturers and become the top Amazon reseller in the PC category. Today, the company has a warehouse off Ogletown Road in Newark and employs about 80 people while working with companies like Dell, HP and Lenovo.
“During COVID, the e-commerce market grew very fast, and our company grew very fast as well,” Zhang told the state’s job investment board, the Council on Development Finance (CDF), on Monday. “We want to work with manufacturers to distribute their products faster and provide a more competitive service to our customers.”
The founders recently decided to spin out their fulfillment and distribution operations into its own business serving other clients, creating Etailflow earlier this year. It offers a wide range of services, including a fulfillment center, a customizable enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, fulfilled Prime orders on Amazon, direct business-to-business orders, purchasing agent services and a return processing service, among others.
With that wide range of services and the booming e-commerce sector, Etailflow anticipates needing at least 45 new employees over the next three years, including warehouse staff technicians, workshop operators and logistics specialists. The hourly wage for those jobs ranges between $17 and $23 an hour.
To support the hiring, CDF approved a grant from the taxpayer-backed Strategic Fund of $155,970.
“All the employees being hired by Etailflow will have the chance to grow within the company,” said Alex Qiang, a channel account manager for PCOnline, who said that training was available for those looking to take on bigger roles.
Etailflow is negotiating with 1800 Ogletown Road to take on more space at the warehouse to accommodate the additional operations and employees, officials said.

John Carney said in a statement. “We remain committed to helping entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses here in Delaware. This decision reaffirms that Delaware is the ideal place for businesses to thrive.”
