Grand Central Holiday Fair
The indoor Grand Central Holiday Fair, set up in Vanderbilt Hall, is home to over 40 unique vendors with a focus on American-made and handmade products with locally-sourced materials or a socially-conscious business model. They sell artwork, clothing for all ages, men’s/women’s accessories, children’s clothing/toys and home goods. In my opinion, this is the highest end of all the holiday markets, with quality goods and prices rivaling those of our famous department stores.

Holiday Markets in NYC FAQs
When do the department stores put up their holiday displays? When are the windows decorated for Christmas in NYC?
Stores generally put up their holiday window displays just around Thanksgiving and they remain up through early January. However, there is no official calendar announced in advance and each store, museum, hotel and attraction with holiday decorations should be checked individually.
You may, however, check the dates of the large Christmas tree lightings (Central Park, Bryant Park, Rockefeller Center), along with a lot of other special holiday tours.
