Rumors surrounding Huawei’s upcoming Mate 80 lineup have been gaining momentum in recent weeks. Most recently, a rumor claimed that the Mate 80 Pro+ variant will feature dual periscope cameras.
The latest leak now claims that the Huawei Mate 80 series may get an eSIM-only variant in certain regions.

According to tipster SmartPikachu, the Mate 80 series will offer the “strongest communications architecture”. We’ll have to wait till an official announcement to see if this claim is true. Huawei hasn’t given out any details about the lineup yet.
The upcoming phones from Huawei are expected to launch this month in China. The Pro+ variant is said to pack a 50MP primary camera with LOFIC technology and dual 50MP zoom cameras with medium and long focal length support. The Mate 80 series could be equipped with new Kirin SoCs and offer up to 100W fast charging.
