OxygenOS 16 to feature deeper integration with Google’s Gemini
OnePlus’ upcoming OxygenOS 16 skin is coming soon, although we still can’t tell you exactly when. We are definitely approaching its release date, however, as the brand has started teasing it on X.
As you can see from the post below, OxygenOS 16 will feature tight integration with Google’s Gemini, which will be able to access OnePlus’ Mind Space function, and, we assume, many more first-party built-in OnePlus apps.

This isn’t unique to OnePlus and OxygenOS, more and more third party Android skins are starting to give Gemini access to their built-in apps, in order to make the AI service more useful.
Gemini will be able to perform complex tasks aided by context you’ve added into your Mind Space, as you can see in the post above. Now OnePlus just has to release OxygenOS 16 already – Android 16 (which it’s based on) came out in June.
